For Dillon and Audrey, their Indianapolis maternity session at The Ruins at Holliday Park was exactly that, and so much more. They came into this session with no particular vision—just excitement and trust in our creative direction.

Holliday Park has long been on our bucket list, and this session finally gave us the excuse to make it happen. The Ruins are absolutely worth the hype. With towering columns, intricate stonework, and an almost cinematic feel, it’s got that perfect blend of history and nature. Fun fact: The structure was originally part of a New York skyscraper before finding its forever home in Indy. Now, it’s basically a photographer’s dream—weathered textures, moody shadows, and open-air vibes that add instant drama to any shot.

Audrey’s outfit choices sealed the deal. She started in a bold, bump-hugging black dress that popped against the earthy backdrop, then switched into a soft, flowing tulle gown from our client closet for those airy, romantic shots. Meanwhile, Dillon kept it simple with neutrals and a hint of blue—timeless, effortless, and perfectly complementing Audrey’s wardrobe. And when golden hour hit? Absolutely stunning. Dillon and Audrey are counting down the days until they meet their baby boy, but let’s be real—Ransom has been their first baby for a while now.
